About EcoSouk
EcoSouk is a circular marketplace for ecological alternatives showcasing refillable, reusable, bio-based, and locally made products from over 150 makers.
Established in 2019, the region’s first zero-waste store, EcoSouk operates as both a physical shop in Hamra, Beirut and an online marketplace.

Alternative Futures
We aŕe committed to the slow cultivation and selection of materials, designed with purpose and planetary impact, reflecting the creativity of communities and local resources, contributing toward collective self-sufficiency.
At EcoSouk, we steward a flourishing ecosystem, providing local producers with access to distribute their eco-friendly products, promoting a nature-based lifestyle for our growing community, intentionally cultivating conscious living in practice.
Through this, we contribute to:
- strengthening local economies
- generating income for small-batch producers
- reducing dependence on extractive systems
- expanding access to lower-impact ways of living
We advocate for alternatives to single-use plastic and waste-heavy systems through:
- refill and low-waste infrastructure
- material-conscious product design
- support for small-scale, local production
Our work is grounded in cultivating collective abundance where knowledge, materials, and value circulate locally. By supporting decentralised production and community-based making, we help build tools and systems that are resilient, adaptive, and rooted in place.
Why It Matters
EcoSouk demonstrates that everyday goods can be produced differently.
By connecting makers and consumers through localised systems, it reduces environmental impact, supports livelihoods, and builds a shared foundation for collective self-sufficiency in a shift toward how we live, make, and exchange.
